Kaizer Chiefs football club supporters has been raising an issue which has left them displeased when the club faces their Premier Soccer League [PSL] opponents away from home.

The tickets prices of away matches has been raised by certain unnamed clubs when they meet Kaizer Chiefs in the league and fans have been sharing their frustrations about it.

This matter is causing outrage among the fans. The issue of inflating ticket prices for matches against Kaizer Chiefs have been brought before the PSL by fans before to regulate the price of tickets, which have continued to fall on deaf ears as nothing has changed.

It seems as if other teams are raising their prices from R60-R100 when they host Kaizer Chiefs. Amakhosi fans reacted to the issue of the prices of away tickets on The Fans Reaction Show, and one fan even went as far as saying, “They are killing us.”

Opinion:

Kaizer Chiefs football club arguably have the most supporters in the PSL, and stadiums are always packed especially when it is derby matches, home or away.

The club’s supporters has always been behind their team 100% despite the club failing to win silverware for the last seven years, eight years if nothing is won this season.

The inflation of away ticket prices could cause that some of the club’s fans does not go to watch away matches Live.

Stellenbosch FC:

Against Stellies in the DStv Premiership, prices was R200 for Bussiness lounge tickets. R100 for Grand stand tickets and R80 for colour areas.

Amakhosi won the match 3-1 on the day with Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana scoring a hat-trick in 11 minutes time frame from the penalty spot.
