Kaizer Chiefs Football Club head coach Arthur Zwane has told the media why he decided to start Syabonga Ngezana over Njabulo Ngcobo when they played against Stellenbosch FC.
According to Soccer Laduma, Arthur Zwane has explained why Syabonga Ngezana was in the starting line-up on Sunday instead of Njabulo Ngcobo.
On-form Kaizer Chiefs Football Club defender Zitha Kwinika was not available for selection when they visited Stellenbosch Football Club due to suspension.
The supporters were expecting Njabulo Ngcobo to step up in that match and be paired along with Edmilson Dove. However, the Kaizer Chiefs coach has other plans in his mind.
When Mangethe spoke to the media, he stated that the player made mistakes against Sundowns but he is still a top player. He has shown quality at training and also the team has worked hard in order to make sure he does get back on his form.
Zwane revealed that Syabonga Ngezana gives Amakhosi balance, apart from that, he is also a fighter and is also good on one versus one situation.
The Kaizer Chiefs coach further praised the player for showing quality at the back when they played against Stellenbosch.
