Just after after the Afro pop singer from the Eastern Cape, Zahara has gotten a chance to revive her career she jinxed it with alcohol. Zahara was one of the artists who were in the line up for Macufe festival, African Cultures. The Macufe festival is a two weeks event that takes place in Bloemfontein annually.
Usually the event start with a soccer match between the Kaizer Chiefs and Bloemfontein Celtics, however, since Celtics has been ‘dissolved’ it’s usually the Royal AM that substitute Celtics.
Now yesterday it was an event for African Cultures. Makhadzi and Zahara were one of the stars that were invited. When it was the turn of Zahara spotted something was spotted. She sounded like she started with a whole 6 pack of Savanna before going on stage.
One of the social media users wrote as follows
“When event Organisers stop booking Zahara because she drinks before performing. She’ll scream foul play and make videos wanting her money from DJ Sbu”, he concluded.

Although all these allegations have been raised, Zahara has not commented on the matter. Hopefully she will do so in due time.
