Since the announcement of the R350 August grant, SASSA’S payment a lot of people are confused on how to assess the fund.

Today, 3rd of August 2021 is an important day for SASSA beneficiaries, as the first payment dates for August now go live.
The first question:
When is SASSA R350 August grant Payment Dates?
Answer:
The payment dates for this month will start with the Older Persons’ Grants released on Tuesday morning.
Tuesday 3 August 2021: Older Persons’ Grants
Wednesday 4 August 2021: Disability Grants
Thursday 5 August 2021: All other grants
When will the R350 August grant date return?
You have to resubmit your details to SASSA for you to stand a chance to update your details and banking information 16 months after SRD payments were introduced.
According to Mampho Modise,
“We are still working with the SASSA department to ensure our systems are in place. As soon as we conclude that meeting, Social Development will then hold a briefing, and that is when we will discuss the start date.” | Mampho Modise
The Treasury is still working to finalise the first available date. There are another two major departmental meetings to go this month before we find out. Mid-August looks like our best bet, here.

Beware!! R350 GRANT WARNING: BEWARE OF SASSA SCAMS
Of course, with many eager to reclaim their financial lifeline with the R350 grant, there will be some who are desperate to believe anything. But SASSA is warning clients to remain vigilant against scams.
Any promotional offer that asks you to provide personal information – such as this ‘food parcel vouchers’ scam – is not part of SASSA protocol, and must be ignored at all costs. You should never share intimate details regarding your finances with a website you’ve never encountered before.
