A naked man was found bleeding profusely as his penis was almost cut off in what seems to be a savage attack in Mslasini, KwaZulu-Natal, on Tuesday 9, November.
According to Reaction Unit SA (RUSA) spokesperson Prem Balram, the incident happened in Mslasini in Everest Heights.
“Members were called out to Mslasini in Everest Heights, on Tuesday afternoon after a naked man was found by residents bleeding profusely from his penis.
“Reaction Officers arrived on scene at approximately 17:52 and were informed that the man ran up to a crowd at the local tuck shop. He was in a state of shock and did not provide details of the attack,” said Balram.
He added that the man was also bleeding from blunt force injuries to his head, and his penis was partially cut off.
The motive for the attack is still unknown at this stage.
“Residents in the area provided clothing for the man who paramedics treated before being transported to hospital by ambulance.”
