Mourners have started trickling at the Durban International Convention Center venue to attend the funeral service of musician Mandla ‘Mampintsha’ Maphumulo. The program of the funeral service was scheduled to start at 9:00 am, with his fellow colleagues, friends, supporters and family expected to be part of this ceremony.
Lebani Sirenje, famously known as Rasta was spotted amongst the attendees and in front busy doing final touches on a painted a portrait of the late Mampintsha. Lebani Sirejenje, popularly known as Rasta. The Artist is a Zimbabwean-born painter currently residing in South Africa. He is famous for his controversial paintings, especially those of dead celebrities.
Mampintsha died last week Saturday on the 24th of December 2022 after suffering with a stroke. May his soul rest in eternal peace. We will always remember him and we wish strength to his family and his wife, Babes Wodumo.
