Our kitchen assistants at Infin8care are part of a team committed to serving freshly prepared meals that are nutritionally balanced in a clean, sanitary atmosphere. In summary, Kitchen Assistants are essential in providing for the daily needs of our residents.
You will be in charge of making sure that food is prepared and provided to residents in a professional manner while collaborating closely with and receiving assistance from the Chef. ensure that all residents’ nutritional needs are satisfied. You’ll also make sure that food is stored in a clean, safe atmosphere and rotated to ensure that it is consumed within its expiration dates. The servery area, kitchen, dining room, and all associated equipment must also be cleaned.
It’s crucial to be able to “think on your feet,” connect with residents and coworkers, establish rapport, and maintain professional relationships. It’s also important to want to take advantage of the possibilities we provide for both personal and professional growth.
About You
You are a good communicator and problem solver who “thinks on your feet,” develop supportive relationships, and aim for the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. You are compassionate and have a customer service mindset.
You DO NOT require prior experience working in the elderly care industry to work at Infin8care; nevertheless, you MUST share our values and hiring philosophy. possess excellent communication abilities, computer proficiency, and a dedication to the welfare of residents.
- A readiness to work weekends according to a schedule.
- A current NDIS Workers Screening Clearance, or the capacity to obtain one.
