#Election2021: 97% of results updated

While waiting for the official final results to be announced by the IEC on Thursday evening, 97% of the total votes have been counted and the results updated.

NATIONAL

ANC: 45.97% of all ballots cast, 10,423,190 votes in total.

DA: 21.24% of all ballots cast, 4,815,255 votes in total.

EFF: 10.38% of all ballots cast, 2,353,135 votes in total.

IFP: 5.52% of all ballots cast, 1,248,302 votes in total.

FF Plus: 2.37% of all ballots cast, 535,682 votes in total.

Patriotic Alliance: 0.98% of all ballots cast, 219,799 votes in total.

GOOD: 0.61% of all ballots cast, 138,509 votes in total.
