The things that are happening lately will have you thinking that we live in the last days; there is so much unnecessary killing, rape, kidnapping, etc. Gender-based violence is another pandemic that has hit the whole world, especially women and children are the ones affected by GBV. It’s a shame that even though awareness is being shared, the culprits still ignore it.

They always blame women when they get rapped, saying that they are the ones who tempted men by the way they dress, though it’s confusing because even kids who wear diapers are still victims of rape. It was reported that on Saturday seven January a lady was having a good time of her life when her friend and his son visited her, as they we chilling indoors having a good talking and laughing, out of the blue her son and friend had an argument, then after her friend left and it was already the evening, her son pushed her to the bathroom and started beating her, he beat her up with his fist and the said that he will beat her until she dies, which he almost did.

The 30 year old man beat his mother and sexually assaulted her.
