Watch: Read the letter by the grade 10 student who committed suicide

The leaked letter written by Lathitha Nako the grade 10 learner from Bisho high school who committed suicide after she was bullied and degraded by her peers has surfaced with so much evidence revealing a lot of information regarding her experience in the hands of these bullies who made her life miserable before she decided to take it by herself.

The letter contains information and the reasons why the deceased child wrote about how some people in her class have been bullying her and have made her life so unbearable.

The saddest part is that all her classmates know about the situation, and have a thorough knowledge of what she went through at the hands of these bullies, and are aware of what led to the situation.

Why did Lathitha Nako commit suicide

On the day she finally took her life, she took her time to write a letter after cringing hysterically detailing how she was debased and disrespected

On the day she committed suicide, while she was at school, she cried hysterically.
So lomntwana has a spiritual calling, the bully went and wrongfully reported her to the teacher saying “She wants to give them an unauthorized reading/uzawbapha indaba.

And ubahlelise kabuhlungu eclassini”. The classmates say this wasn’t even true, uhambile ke umntwana wayokugxoliswa by the teachers ba zintoni ezizinto azenzayo. This is apparently not the first time a bullying incident has happened in the school, but it was the last straw for the deceased child.

Who are the Bisho Bullies

They include Avumile Monti, Sinokuhle Mnganga and Inenceba Feni.

They are still in denial saying they do not know the child’s background, she could’ve killed herself because of an issue from home. They have stopped the students from posting.

When the bullies were told about Lathitha Nako’s death, they answered arrogantly. And continued to say “bayadika naba babe belila into engapheliyo”

aki yethu leyo, and it’s fine xa nicinga lonto”. All the above information is alleged, I am hearing all this from their classmates who were present on all these interactions.

This should be a wake-up call for every parent, always ask your child to tell you their school experience. Do not wait until they bring back the lifeless body of your child.
