Job Description:
To assist with strategic consulting engagements, the Visa Consulting and Analytics team is seeking interns. A highly analytical person with prior business experience is the perfect candidate.
Typical projects may include:
How can a financial institution grow its share of the consumer credit card market? How might a credit card company make use of new technology to attract the greatest clients?
How can a financial institution expand its portfolio of credit cards while reducing credit risk? How can a financial institution improve the selection of products it offers?
Responsibilities:
Participate actively with a group of knowledgeable individuals providing strategic advisory services to important Visa clients. Execute consulting projects with other team members, taking part in interviews, evaluating private client information, and summarizing critical findings. Identify internal and external data resources, do market research, and develop bespoke analytics Conduct a thorough study of the customer data and discover the data’s initial trends and themes. Create presentations for clients that are tailored to their needs as executives, then deliver them to clients and internal Visa partners.
Basic Qualifications:
pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business or a closely related discipline, with a December 2023–August 2024 graduation date. Employment for this position is contingent upon having permanent work authorization to work in Canada.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong storytelling, presentation, and communication abilities with the ability to translate results into suggestions that are action-driven. Outstanding analytical abilities, including the capacity to digest and condense vast amounts of data into important strategic insights. Understanding finance and accounting is a plus. Capability to swiftly test ideas using facts and generate hypotheses on the causes of customer issues. Excellent team player who is eager to work with specialists from all fields and levels.
Good capacity to multitask and adapt High intellectual curiosity to understand the source of problems and how to add value for clients proficient with spreadsheets and presentations, ideally to a power level A passion for payments, financial institutions, or consumer financing is advantageous.
