THREE STAR ACTRESSES TO HOST OSCAR AWARDS
On Tuesday 15 February, Good Morning America announced that American actresses Wanda Sykes, Amy Schumer and Regina Hall will host the 94th Oscar Awards, set to take place on Sunday 26 March.
According to Good Morning America, it has been 35 years since there have been three hosts for the Oscar Awards. For the first time ever, three women will be hosting the prestigious awards show.
Wanda Sykes, Amy Schumer and Regina Hall will take centre stage at the 2022 Oscar Awards.
“I’m not sure who thought this was a good idea, but I am hosting the Oscars,” said Amy Schumer.
In a joint statement sent to Entertainment Weekly, all three hosts said: “We want people to get ready to have a good time. It’s been a while.”
