Moses J Moseley, a 31-year-old actor, has died.
He was well recognized for his appearance on The Walking Dead as a pet zombie. He also appeared in HBO’s Watchmen and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire in 2013. Tabatha Minchew, the actor’s manager, announced his death on Monday.
Moses was adored by all. He never encountered a stranger. He adored his fans just as much as he adored his family and friends. “He was always ecstatic about getting auditions and jobs,” she claimed.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with our TWDFamily member Moses J. Moseley,” the official Walking Dead account tweeted. In the zombie series, Moseley plays a pet walker for Michonne, played by Danai Gurira.
Jeremy Palko, who played Andy alongside him on the show, said he was “heartbroken.”
“Just an absolutely beautiful and loving human being,” he wrote. “My friend, you will be missed.”
Moseley, who was born in Aiken, South Carolina, works as both an actor and a model, which he began doing in 2010. After being approached after a lecture at Georgia State University, he was requested to appear in the film Joyful Noise alongside Queen Latifah and Dolly Parton.
Moseley’s family reported him missing earlier this week, and an investigation into his death is ongoing, according to TMZ.
May his soul rest in peace.
