Nkosentsha Shezi, an RET aligned comrade from the Kwa-Zulu Natal province has revealed that ANC delegates failed to remove president Cyril Ramaphosa at the party’s 55th national conference. Many had anticipated that with a scandal hanging over his head, it was going to be easy to remove Cyril Ramaphosa from power. It however turned out that his renewal campaign worked out perfectly for him.
Shezi said if Cyril Ramaphosa was removed from power, this could have led South Africa to buy cheap oil from Russia. And implement most of the policies of the ANC including the RET. “Delegates failed to remove Ramaphosa which would have gave us opportunity: To buy cheap Russian crude oil and pay R11 per litre for petrol. Stop loadshedding. Nationalise SARB and reduce unemployment.
Liberate National Prosecuting Authority to regain independence, and restore our sovereignty,” he said. Critics however said that delegates didn’t fail to remove Ramaphosa, but they liked him which is why they gave him a second term. They said Nkosentsha Shezi and his RET comrades are angry that they cannot be able to do what as they please.”Their biggest failure was at the recent ANC National conference where delegates overwhelmingly rejected them and chose Ramaphosa instead,” they said.
