South African Cape Town parliament is currently on fire at the publishing of this report.
Several reports have said that the fire started around 7 am going to 8 am.
For now, nobody currently knows the source of where it started or what happened to set the national parliament on fire, but firefighters have been sent to the scene.
The 36 firefighters on the scene had requested more resources to tackle the blaze, Smith said. The alarm was raised at 5 am and Smith said initial reports indicated the fire started in office space on the third floor and spread toward the gymnasium.
Some media say that they are very disappointed on the news service because of failure to report the incident early one said”I know it’s not entirely their fault, but this is what’s so disappointing about SA TV news. Not one of our “24hr” news channels – particularly eNCA which is 5mins away from the blaze – has live footage of our parliament burning down”
