Seru The Ellipsis  drops new song Amatente featuring Duma ka Mthombeni

“Seru The Ellipsis, the young lyricist and stage rocker, is following up his Single Mali Ye Rent, which was featured in Hype Magazine and played on Metro Fm by Oskido with a new sound and style called AMATENTE.

It aims to bring the heat with this Kasi tune. Seru says, “AMATENTE is derived from the symbolism of a tent in the Kasi.  Whenever you see a tent in the hood, you automatically assume ‘Kuno’mcimbi'(There is a celebration happening here), and that’s what we do.

The song is simply for the streets and by the streets as it is a love letter to the streets themselves.  I made this song for all the ride-or-die for STRATA.  We all love having fun and doing crazy things on these streets, so why not show it? It’s essentially a tale of someone who has found love and solace in the streets themselves, and when people try to take him away from this (Convince him that the streets are no good or get into something serious), He fights for this love of living his life freely. It’s a love letter dedicated to the streets.”
