Season 2 of The Real Housewives of Durban premiered yesterday on Showmax, and things have changed. Three other women replaced the two who did not return, Kgomotso Ndungane and Ayanda Ncwane. The three new women are Jojo Robinson, Thobile Khumalo-Mseleku and Londie London.
Londie and Jojo introduced themselves to the public and shared some information about themselves. When someone joins a lavish reality show, it’s normal for viewers to be curious about how they make a living because, the show is about glam and showing off.
Londie London is a well-known singer, but it’s known local musicians can’t really sustain her current lifestyle. Londie was honest and shared her husband is responsible for her extravagant lifestyle. The singer is married to a Durban businessman named Hlubi Nkosi, but it’s not known what kind of business he is in, but it’s clear that he makes fortunes judging from his mansion, Luxurious cars and of course his woman’s wardrobe. Londie also shared that she’s an entrepreneur who has her own clothing line. This means she doesn’t want to be fully dependent on her husband, which is good.
Jojo also shared her husband takes care of her. The new housewife shared that she’s a stay-at-home mom, but doesn’t like to say it publicly because people are judgemental, so she says she’s an artist because she paints. Jojo also shared that she doesn’t like people who judge her about her appearance, referring to her tattoos because that’s how she is, and it doesn’t concern others. Jojo and Londie London are both lucky women because they got what most women really like, a man who takes care of you and spoils you. So ladies, there is still hope for you to get that rich prince charming.
Thobile Khumalo-Mseleku didn’t appear in the first episode, but Laconco, another housewife on the show, shared that Thobile said she didn’t want to be asked about her husband’s other wives because she comes from a polygamous marriage and her family has their own reality show. I believe coming to this show, Thobile wanted people to know the real her, not Musa Mseleku’s third wife.
