SA business woman narrates how Faith Nketsi’s boyfriend Nzuzo Njilo and his friend duped her

A Young woman narrates how she was duped by the flashy rich Faith Nketsi’s boy friend Nzuzo Njilo and his friend Luntu Maxegwana which they are yet to show any form of remorse or payment since June 2020.

According to her, she has Renault Truck which she had purchased early April 20019,a nd decided to lease it to Luntu Maxegwana which they agreed that she will be paid at the beginning of every month and signed a huge contract for, unfortunately, Luntu Maxegwana has not paid her a single money from that deal.

As if that was not enough, she saw her truck posted by Nzuzo Njilo on social media claiming to be his own with a caption like ‘Another member added to the family’

This singular act triggered her to request for her truck back, which she had to put up a serious fight, spent money, involved, lawyer and police.

Early January 2021, she received a call from Nzuzo Njilo who told her to come and fetch her truck but would need her to send the documents of the truck, which she obliged and sent via WhatsApp as posted bellow.

On her way to fetch the truck, Nzuzo refused to release the location to her, she informed the Sherif, who confirmed that the Truck has been found, on getting to the location, she was told that the truck has been sold.

The person who bought the truck, refused to release the tuck until his money is repaid back , at this point she released that Nzuzo and Luntu had been working together to cheat her and defraud her.

She was lucky enough to prove the ownership of the truck.

The truck was fetched eventually after it has been badly damaged in the worst situation, wires were cut off, batteries stolen and her money was never paid till now.

This is not the first time Njilo family has been in such situation, in 2010, A DURBAN businessman went after the properties of the father Themba Njilo and the mother Thembekile, to recoup money for their eldest son’s debt.

Vischal Salik sued the Njilos because they failed to pay a debt incurred through the business of their son, Phumlani, for which they had taken liability.

Salik, the owner of Tekwini Tombstone, first took legal action against Induduzo Life, Phumlani’s company, in 2017. Salik apparently supplied Phumlani with 67 tombstones which allegedly have not been paid for.

A lot of people have started voicing out their situation with Nzuzo and other flashy Instagram ‘big boys’ who are duping people their hard earned money on a daily.

This is her story!

I’m a young black African woman who owns a Renault truck, bought it early April 2019 with the aim of trying to make a living for myself.

So, about last year June, I signed a contract with Luntu Maxegwana/Maxbu Projects. The agreement was that I lease my truck to him/his company and he pays me at the beginning of every month (I’m talking about a huge amount of money).

As I am writing this, Luntu Maxegwana has not paid me a SINGLE CENT! From June 2020 until now, it’s almost been a year! A few weeks after signing the contract, I see Nzuzo Njilo posting MY EXACT truck on his page with the caption “Another member added to the family”.

Obviously now I’m confused! How does one just write something like that about a truck that’s not even theirs?

I then decided to take my truck back from him/them cause at this point I’m not even sure what the hell is going on! After fighting and fighting with Luntu Maxegwana and him refusing to give me MY key, I eventually had to involve lawyers & sheriffs of the court (obviously those kinda things take time & money).

Fast forward to January this year. I receive a call from Nzuzo Njilo (this is Phumlani Njilo’s little brother by the way, yep him) he tells me “Mala, it’s a new year, blah blah, I don’t want any drama involving your truck. When can you come fetch it” so I tell him I will fly down to Jozi as soon as possible and come get it.

He tells me he has the key as well but in the meantime he needs the truck documents so he can move it from “his yard” apparently, and book it into another storage. So I’m like “Okay cool, will send it soon.” Does he not put pressure on me via WhatsApp straight after our call, he says it’s urgent. So I send it.

Now when I was ready to go and fetch my truck, Nzuzo Njilo refused to send me the location of where it was parked.

Eventually, the Sheriff gets back to me saying they’ve found the truck and I can come collect it. When I get there I hear that MY truck has been SOLD to another guy and that guy wouldn’t let go of my truck unless he receives his money back (so it then became obvious to me that Nzuzo Njilo had been working together with Luntu Maxegwana all this time).

Fortunately for me, I could prove that the truck was rightfully mine so that was no issue. I found my truck in the worst conditions, wires were cut off, batteries were stolen, it had dents etc.

I am absolutely disgusted that people could do such cruel things! Was it not enough that you guys used my truck and didn’t pay me my money? You guys had to go the extra mile and sell something that wasn’t even yours! HONESTLY DISGUSTED! Be careful of these “social media” boys. That money that they flaunt isn’t even theirs, it’s stolen money! Ziinyembezi zabantu! May God deal with them according to what they deserve!
