Rest In Peace: A Legendary Jazz Musician Has Passed Away! #RIPJonasGwangwa

Another legendary jazz musician Jonas Gwangwa  has passed away, he played a huge role during the dark days of apartheid as we was using music to communicate about what was happening inside the country.

It’s a sad day because he was part of the music industry doing different things for a period of over 40 years.

has dies at the age of 83. This is heartbreaking news in the arts industry. Gwangwa was an award-winning jazz musician.

Mr Cyril Ramaphosa has released a statement via twitter paying a tribute to a legendary jazz musician, in the message he was sending a condolence of the family as well as close friends during this difficult moments, because losing a loved one will always be painful.

The 82-year-old, who was presently recuperating subsequent to being disturbed by weakness as of late, was

respected by South African Afro Music Awards (Saafma) on October 19 at Wits Great Hall, Johannesburg.
