Orlando Pirates snap Ntsako Makhubela ahead of Kaizer Chiefs

The Coachless ORLANDO Pirates have been very active in the transfer market over the last 24 hours with the addition of Ghanaian striker Kwame Peprah and Golden Arrows midfielder Ntsako “Neverdie” Makhubela to their squad.

Makhubela was one of the outstanding performers in the Arrows side last season that finished in fourth place in the inaugural DStv Premiership, a record high in their South African top-flight history.

His impressive form and role in the high-flying campaign for Abafana Bes’thende caught the eye of the likes of the Buccaneers and Mamelodi Sundowns.

However, the Soweto giants have secured his services as he follows his former head coach Mandla Ncikazi to the club.

“Orlando Pirates is pleased to announce the signing of Ntsako “Neverdie” Makhubela from Golden Arrows,” the club statement read on social media.

The 27-year-old who’s comfortable in midfield and out wide scored three goals and registered two assists in 23 games for the KZN-based outfit last season.
