Orlando Pirates replace Josef Zinnbauer with Dan Malesela

Since Josef Zinnbauer resigned as coach of Orlando Pirates talk has been red hot regarding Dan Malesela as his potential replacement.

Enter Dan Malesela, former coach of Chippa United. Is he the new Buccaneers coach?

Pirates are yet to confirm if they will be appointing a new coach during their current PSL campaign.

According to the official Soccer Laduma website Malesela has been offered to the club. He would become their third member or a coaching team that currently consists of Mandla Ncikazi and Fadlu Davids.

Ncikazi and Davids are seem to be doing well without a head coach. The Bucs currently sit in 4th position on the latest DStv Premiership log.

Malesela brought fire out of the Chilliboys but has not been appointed to a club since April this year. His name is now thrown into the hat with the likes of Cavin Johnson as a potential replacement to Zinnbauer.

However, they will have their mettle tested when they take on the defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday, 25 September.

Both side’s enter this game unbeaten after 4 rounds of action in the DStv Premiership.

The game will be hosted at the Orlando Stadium with Pirates looking to end The Brazilians hot run of form
