Ntsiki Mazwai is upset that Unathi has landed herself a new gig after almost ruining Sizwe Dhlomo’s career. This comes after the media personality was fired from Kaya FM after lying about being verbally abused by Dhlomo. Despite this, she has landed a gig as the host of Mzansi Magic’s Festive Get-Together in The Life Artois.
Unathi lie almost ruined Sizwe
About a week ago many South Africans were taken aback after hearing the news that Unathi was fired from Kaya FM. The radio host and Idols SA judge was soon trending as locals wondered out loud what went wrong.
Shortly after that, we heard how the star got into an argument with fellow host Sizwe Dhlomo and was allegedly verbally abused by him.
Needless to say, many sided with Unathi until recordings from the argument proved that Sizwe hadn’t verbally abused Unathi. As expected many people criticised Unathi for attempting to ruin Dhlomo’s career and reputation.
Human rights activist and poet Ntsiki Mazwai is one of them.
According to Ntsiki who took to her Twitter page, Unathi should not be landing more jobs in the industry because of her recent actions.
“In the GBV climate we have in South Africa. A woman is alleged to have lied about someone and almost ended their career and reputation in an act of malice. And you give her a TV show for little girls to know that you can lie about men and be rewarded for your lie? For real?” she asked.
She then went on to say that the whole thing should be handled by the police to make sure Unathi learns her lesson.
“When we stand up for rape victims…We are reminded that women lie… And cases are thrown out of court…Women who lie and falsify abuse must be dealt with legally and accordingly.”
