The Queen Mzansi actor, Sthembiso ‘SK’ Khoza, has found himself at the centre of yet another scandal. This time, however, it involves physical violence.
It is alleged that the Kings of Joburg actor has a case opened against him, and one of the women who is believed to be his fiancée, after an incident that took place at a filling station last week.
According to Sunday World, a woman who works as a cashier at a filling station in Gauteng has turned to the police for protection after she was hit with a scanner in the face during an altercation with Khoza and two other women he was with.
The incident is said to have taken place on Thursday night after a misunderstanding between Khoza and the cashier. A source who claims to have witnessed the incident revealed that the actor and two women arrived at the petrol station and walked into the store to buy a bouquet of flowers. Drama then erupted when the cashier helping the actor asked that he packs his own flowers as she needed to attend to other customers. The source claims that Khoza was not happy with these instructions and told the cashier to pack the flowers for him as it is her job. This then led to an argument between Khoza and the woman, which was then joined by the other two women who were with the actor. Before the cashier knew it, one of the women grabbed the scanner and hit her in the face with it; scattering the flowers all over the counter.
The cashier told the publication that she sustained a black eye, bruising on her left cheek, and a deep cut below the left eye. She was then taken to the Midrand Police Station by her colleagues to open a case of crimen injuria against Khoza and an assault case against the woman who hit her, while she was reportedly bleeding.
A picture of the cashier’s injured face was shared by Twitter user Man’s Not Barry Roux.
“SK Khoza and his girlfriend assaulted a cashier on Thursday at Sasol Garage Waterfall. The cashier has opened a case against them at MIDRAND Station,” the caption read.
However, in a very short and precise tweet, SK has denied the allegations.
“My fiancé and I didn’t assault anyone at any garage…,” SK wrote.
Could it be a case of mistaken identity? It is possible. However, one incident where one cannot deny the identity of the star is when he hogged headlines last year after a video of him at a “sex party” went viral on social media. The video showed SK in the company of three naked ladies, and one lady could be seen touching him whilst he was trying to get the TV to work.
More video clips emerged, causing a stir on the internet and leaving his fans disappointed, as the women were also allegedly drugged. In an apology he issued on Twitter, SK said his actions were unacceptable: “My actions were unacceptable, I beg for forgiveness. I take full responsibility, especially at a time we are faced with a serious pandemic. I should have made better decisions. I need to do better. To everyone I have disappointed and hurt, I am truly sorry.” he wrote in part.
