Four people have died in multiple-vehicle crashes, including a taxi on the N1 near Bela Bela in Limpopo.

The N1 road between Kranskop Toll Plaza and Middlefontein has been closed, Northbound traffic is diverted to Modimolle at the Toll gate.

Motorists are advised to use the R101 between Mookgophong and Modimolle. A Toyota Avanza was involved in an accident while travelling from Gauteng province to Limpopo Province.

Not yet confirmed where the taxi was travelling to in Limpopo, but people are advised to check on their relatives and loved ones who were coming home using public transport.
