South African citizens are reacting to an incident that happened today in Limpopo where a man who was wanted by police got shot and killed during a shootout. Police have been looking for the criminal and today they eventually found him then he tried to shoot them just to be able to evade them, but then it was very unfortunate as police retaliated and sent back the greetings.
He was shot in Zone 5, police tried to rush him to the nearest hospital but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries before he could even be treated at the hospital.
When the police arrived at the patient at the hospital he stayed there for some time until he was pronounced deceased and nothing could be done to save his life as he was not responding.
Police ensured that he was being watched until he died, as they were afraid that if they keep their eyes off him he might escape if he happened to survive.
Police are always urging members of the public to report any criminal activity that happens and their areas. The police are doing everything in their power to reduce crime in this country which is why they want members of the public to participate in removing criminals from their communities.
The problem that members of the public have is the fact that whenever a criminal is shot, they tried to save their lives and that is something that shouldn’t be done because they will be using resources that should be used on people who do not commit the crime. If a criminal gets shot during a shootout with the police they should be left like that because they would have caused it. What’s your take on this matter?
