The leader of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), Julius Malema recently took to social media platform, particularly Twitter, to upload a picture of himself standing alongside the prominent member of the South African ruling party, the African National Congress (ANC), Tony Yengeni sitting inside a boat and having some drinks. The picture seems to have went viral: and many South African people across the country have since reacted to the picture with mixed reactions.

One of the people whose attention appears to have been grabbed by the picture of the leader of the red berets and Tony Yengeni, is the widely known leader of the United Democratic Movement, Bantu Holomisa. Holomisa responded to the picture of Julius Malema and Tony Yengeni, by indicating that the year 2023 is going to be lit. And Holomisa continued to indicate that Malema must be careful of the Vlaak Plaas modus operandi of old is in full swing.

As already pointed out above, the tweet of Julius Malema seemingly made some people to comment with different views. Well the leader of the Economic Freedom Fighters captioned the picture of himself with Tony Yengeni as follows: “When you and your Mkhuluwa @tyengeni1954 mind your own water”Consequently, the leader of the United Democratic Movement (UDM) emphatically responded by making the following remarks:”Compliments to both of you .

2023 is going to be lit. Just be careful the Vlaak Plaas modus operandi of old is in full swing – “Remove Permanently from Society”. Don’t be surprised, De Kock who killed many blacks is in the pay roll of the govt of comrades. What a contradiction”Julius Malema’s tweet appears to have left many South African people with more questions than answers. And some people are already asking themselves questions. However, it would seem Julius Malema’s tweet will dominate the discourse.
