Comedienne Mai Titi has come out to speak after the pilot that ferried her to her wedding crashed and died on the spot.
Captain Peter Chirimuuto’s helicopter crashed on Sunday near Chibhero College in Mhondoro barely a day after ferrying Mai Titi to her grand wedding.
Taking to Facebook, a teary Mai Titi confirmed the development in a post. She revealed that the owner of the helicopters she had booked told her that her pilot crashed and died on Sunday as he was coming from picking up another client.
Mai Titi who is currently traumatized by the devasting news went on to share her encounter with Captain Peter Chrirmuuto. She revealed that he showed her chivalry and told her how he was honored to be ferrying her to her wedding venue.
“Just this morning people calling me saying your Pilot crashed and passed away soon after dropping me, I’m thinking it’s just false rumors. I’m calling the owner of the Helicopters I booked from he confirmed it’s true he crashed and died the next day on Sunday as he was coming from picking up another client. I don’t know him I just booked for Chikopokopo services and when I went on board he opened the door for me saluted and said I’m honored to be taking you to your big day,” she penned.
Mai Titi went on to reveal that when Becky called and asked him to delay by 20 minutes, he refused to say that a “dark cloud is coming.
”Becky called at the same time and said can you delay coming to the venue by 20 minutes he said no ma’am I got to take you now because a dark cloud is coming was this the dark cloud he meant?? I’m traumatized right now.
Mai Titi went on to send her condolence message and l thank the deceased for the warm hospitality he offered her when he ferried her to her wedding.
“My brother I don’t know what to say, may your soul Rest In Peace, and thank you even if I don’t know you personally for the hospitality you gave me those few minutes I knew you. May his family be comforted this is terrible ah God why ???,” she wrote.
