Lusanda Mcinga, a gospel musician from Mzansi, is saying goodbye.

By Nhlanhla Maseko It has been long since musician, Lusanda joined the entertainment industry specifically the music side of the industry. Unfortunately, it is time for her to leave the industry. Lusanda Mcinga is a South African media personality known for being a Gospel singer who hails from Willowvale.

She is popular known for being a member of Lusanda Spiritual group. Mcinga has given Mzansi many songs such as Umoya wenkosi, Ixilongo, Abanye Bayawela, Mandi hamba nawe Jesu and Akukho onje ngawe together with her group members.

Lusanda has entertained listeners and viewers for a long time from the 80’s but her journey has unfortunately come to an end and soon, she will no longer be seen performing ang music. Speaking about her journey coming to an end in the entertainment industry, Lusanda said “I’ve been doing music since 1986 and now it’s time to bow out. I’m leaving the industry with a heavy heart because although my voice is still there, my body can’t take the pressure anymore”.

Lusanda is not just leaving the industry. She is working on an album which will her last in saying goodbye as a Gospel musician.

“Half of the songs were written by me. Betusile, Kamva and Percy also wrote some of the songs. For now, i haven’t decided on the title of the album but i can reveal it’ll be released towards the end of December or in January”, Lusanda Mcinga said about her last album.

It is so sad that Lusanda has taken a decision to leave the industry especially after having been part of it for many years. However, a break sometimes is needed for one to go and recharge so that she can come back etter or move to other things and do better.
