Multi-Talented TV host, Presenter, Singer, songwriter, Katlego Maboe demands R1 million in damages from his ex-girlfriend Monique Muller.
Katlego is claiming loss of income, psychological damage and damage to his reputation after he was exposed by his ex-wife for cheating late last year.
Katlego Maboe is also suing Monique’s brother, Sabrina Walters who is the founder of Women for Change, as well as Dr Janet van Eeden who is the chairperson of the judges for the Saftas.
The 15th annual South African Film and Television Awards withdrew their nomination on TV presenter Katlego Maboe’s.
He was nominated in the public-voted category for Best TV Presenter.
According to the Judging Chairperson, Janet van Eeden, the organisers cited that Maboe is currently dealing with serious allegations of domestic abuse.
The total of the money Katlego is demanding is R4 million.
Many celebrities have had a lot of cheating scandals and other types of scandals and never has it come to an extent that it affects their jobs to a point they ended up losing everything. But Katlego case was different.
Recall that Katlego Maboe went viral on social media after a video of him confessing his ex-wife of cheating on with one Nikita Murray and suggesting that the sexually transmitted infection, her wife got was gotten from affair he had with the side chick.
This action affected his entire career, as his ex-wife Monique Miller made sure he lost everything he has.
Meanwhile, Nikita Murray has released a statement after being implicated in a video in which Katlego Maboe alleges they had affair.
According to the statement, Nikita underwent a medical exam with the results indicating that she tested negative for an STD.
