A Nigerian national aged 34 has been apprehended in Johannesburg by Metro Officers in possession of illicit drugs.

The suspect was said to have assaulted one of the officers when he was about to be arrested, and tried to run away but was overpowered.

He was also accused of trying to bribe the officials with R430 for his release but it was turned down and was detained at Johannesburg central SAPS.

Foreign nationals have been carrying out illicit activities in the country and got away with it but that is currently changing as pressure from the citizens are beginning to yield result.
