The idea of a national shutdown proposed by Julius Malema and EFF members is gaining traction by the day. Many people initially thought he was joking about the situation, but they have since realized that the 20th of this month could be a game changer.

Aside from the EFF and Julius Malema, some others, including former ANC official Carl Niehaus, have volunteered to join the protest. Although some provinces have stated that Julius Malema and his entourage will not be permitted to enter the area or attempt to shut it down because it will have a negative impact on them.

The major reason why he came up with this idea of national shutdown was because of the persistent load shedding which has lasted for six months now. He said that the government has totally failed the entire nation and Cyril Ramaphosa and his cabinet are not worthy to be in office any longer. We are facing different challenges but the government only pay lip services to them .

They pretend as if they are caring but deep down it is none of their business as far as their family members are doing well. As the day Julius Malema set aside to commence his long awaited protest come closer, people noticed that the power generating body ESKOM has come up with a new load shedding schedule. This has caused a lot of reactions and many people believed that they are afraid of EFF ad and Malema.
