Former Transnet Board member and Gupta family associate Iqbal Sharma is back at the Bloemfontein magistrate’s court to apply for bail.

Sharma and former Free State agriculture department head, Peter Thabethe, appeared in court on Monday.

Thabethe was released on R10,000 bail.

They face fraud and money laundering charges worth over R24.9-million linked to a Free State Agricultural department feasibility study.
