Bonang has been loving New York City or should we say – New York City has been loving Bonang. Our very own recently took to social media to give her fans a glimpse into what her life overseas has been all about. In a stylish figure-hugging dress and a designer bag in her hand, Lebonza took over the streets of the big apple.
In her live videos, she hopped in her Limo to meet up with her friends for an intimate dinner at Saint Theo’s. They also enjoyed their meals with some cocktails.
The last time we heard from Bonang for an extended period was during her 34th birthday two months ago. During a live video, she thanked everyone that has continued to show her support over the years.
“Imagine these Americans don’t know this music. What kind of people are these people? Okay, guys, I need to go. Thank you for everything. I love you. I love everyone that is on this live right now. Ke bo 1 so. Nagana ka one le tsogile and le shebile ngwanyana wa ko Mafikeng. Thank you. I love you. I hope I will make you proud. And I hope I’ve made you proud. And I will try my best to continue to make you proud. Thank you for supporting me. Thank you for all the wonderful messages you’ve sent me,” said the South African born star.
She also answered some burning questions her fans have been dying to ask her. She confirmed that she is currently in a relationship and has plans to start a family. The couple had plans to go out on vacation the following week but we never so any snaps – we are not sure if it actually happened.
“I’m 34 years of age today – which is quite stressful. And yes, I do have a man and I plan on giving him children, so relax. I’m seeing him next week actually. That’s why I needed all of this because he is taking me on holiday. But yeah, it’s going to be a re-uniting of him and I. But yeah, I’m very very happy. I’m blessed and fortunate that’s able to have this opportunity to live here,” she concluded her video.
Apart from promoting her wine business, it is believed that she is in the states for her podcast on US broadcaster and Breakfast Club host Charlamagne’s network. The podcast network was expected to debut this year and would feature 18 podcasters. One of those being Bonang Matheba. Other talented broadcasters include comedian Jess Hilarious, Tamika Mallory and Eboni K. Williams. Bonang’s show will be called Untitled.
