Since she became the Supreme Veto power holder, there has been speculation about who Ipeleng would choose if she was given the opportunity to choose a fellow housemate to take to the finale. While most housemates expected her to pick Tsatsii or her partner, Blaqboi, her choice of Ebubu was unexpected.

Her final choice was strategic: she believes Ebubu deserves the spot as he needs a platform to put himself out there and achieve his dreams. Some housemates speculated that she chose him because she saw him as weak. However, she disagreed and said her only concern was ensuring that Tsatsii and Blaqboi were not offended.

To clear the air after giving him her word, Ipeleng had a chat with Blaqboi in the HoH bedroom; she tried to explain herself and said her decision came out of the blue and she went with it because it was what was best for her. Blaqboi stated that he was not angry at her, and although he would have picked her if he had been in her shoes, he is making peace with her decision.

After speaking to Blaqboi, she confided in Miracle OP and expressed how worried she felt; Miracle OP encouraged her; he also said she made a great decision and he would have done similar. During their chat, Tsatsii walked in to fetch Miracle OP, who was braaing meat, and Ipeleng saw this as a perfect time to approach Tsatsii. Tsatsii expressed that she was not upset.
