A Complete Job Description:
The staff at Jasper Hotel & Suites collaborates daily to give our visitors an exceptional stay. You play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have a tidy and relaxing stay as a housekeeper.
Benefits:
- 30 to 40 hours each week, 5 to 6 shifts per week (Varies, depending on the Season)
- Seasonal and year-round availability
- Although training is important, experience is a plus.
- Starter Pay is $17 per hour.
Duties:
- Daily cleaning services should be made available to visitors.
- Fill up the task papers for the rooms that need to be cleaned each day.
- Keep an eye out for any maintenance issues and report them.
- Assist with maintaining the linen rooms, carts, and cleaning materials.
- Deliver items from Lost and Found to the designated office.
- Follow all resort safety guidelines to maintain the security of both personnel and visitors.
- During specific times, keep the halls and public areas clean (vacuuming, dusting, etc.)
- Turn mattresses and rearrange furniture as needed.
- Bringing trash to sites with loading docks.
- Provide introductory details about the amenities and deal with complaints
- Answer visitor inquiries and provide services as requested.
- As directed by the team lead and the housekeeping manager, assists coworkers.
- Assist with laundry as needed.
- Do any additional tasks deemed necessary and assigned by the team lead and housekeeping manager.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Possess the ability to push, pull, bend, kneel, and lift at least 25 pounds.
- Work with cleaning agents; instruction in proper use will be provided.
- Standing still for a long time.
- Willing to work on the weekends.
- Wear the necessary uniform and adhere to the Jasper Hotel & Suites Dress Code upon reporting for work.
- A friendly, team-focused environment.
- Must possess a working visa for Canada. LMIA is not something we offer.
