Recent images of the ANC NEC Tony Yengeni living it up with his wife generated a lot of buzz on social media. The fact that he is enjoying his best life after years of corrupt activity without being held accountable infuriated South Africans to the point of rage. Yengeni has always been at the epicenter of corruption and controversy.

The former ANC Chief Whip was implicated in a corruption probe into an arms transaction in 2003, and he was subsequently convicted guilty of fraud. He was appointed the ANC’s crime and corruption committee’s chair in 2018. Due to receiving an illegal discount on the Mercedes Benz he bought, he received a four-year prison sentence, but only served four months of it.

Earlier this year, Yengeni and EFF leader Julius Malema caused quite a stir on social media when they shared pictures of the two of them living it up on vacation. The two politicians shared images of their holiday, where they can be seen enjoying life on a boat and having drinks.
