Former IPCC gospel singer, Emma Mkhwanazi is reported to have passed, and the news saddens lots of South Africans.
The legend reportedly died on the 29th of June, 2021, but the cause of death is yet to be officially revealed.
Some media outlets suggest she died in hospital from a self-inflicted illness.
Lovers of her music have taken to social media to pay tribute.
She rose to stardom when she was singing at the International Pentecostal Holiness Church, IPHC church. She was the leading singer of the IPCC church choir.
We are saddened by the passing of legendary songstress, Emma Mkhwanazi. She was a part of the gospel group, IPCC, which won a SAMA 10 for Best Traditional Gospel Album.
