Benn Gilbert Kamoto famously known as Gemini Major has released the highly anticipated project titled, Island Water, and he’s excited, as it’s one of his best projects since he started doing music.
Speaking with SunBuzz, the music producer said he started working on the EP during the lockdown period, and he’s elated that he could unearth another part of him asides production.
“The lockdown gave me the time to work on my sound, and as an artist I always fell on the production side. Now I am in touch with myself, and I am making music that I love. I had a lot of time on my hands and I made a lot of records. I hope people will enjoy the project as much as I enjoyed creating it,” he said.
Recently, the 31-year-old met Chance The Rapper and Vic Mensa while in Ghana, and he said it’s one of the biggest moments for him through his music career.
“I couldn’t believe who I was rubbing shoulders with, and the fact that we connected was spectacular. He is such a great person, and I learnt a lot from him,” he said.
