This week, Nana achieved another victory when she won the arena games and received $1,000. A few hours prior to the arena activities, the female roommates had taken over the kitchen, leaving the male housemates starving while they impatiently awaited their time. Might this have had an impact on how they performed during the games?
A few minutes into their time in the kitchen, Biggie announced the arrival of their kit for the arena games in the store room. Their kit was a replica of the attire of ancient Egypt and it got both the housemates and viewers thinking about what the arena games were going to be like. The male housemates in particular loved their outfits and had a few dances in them before the games.
The arena games were in four stages with the first called Don’t wake the Mummy. Here, housemates had to carry a hoop with bells from the beginning to the end of a purple line without any of the bells jingling. If it did, then the player would return to the starting position to try again. The second challenge was tagged Egyptian Gold Deluxe. This involved the housemates rolling a pair of dice close to a scale. The number of dice rolled is the number of gold bars that will be placed on the scale.
The third challenge was tagged Hop Scotch Deluxe. For this challenge, the housemates had to hop from one end of a mat to the other end of the mat. The catch was that they could only hop on spot marked with an ‘X’. The fourth challenge was the Mirror the Block challenge. It involved the housemates creating a mirror image of the puzzle pieces on the table.
After the games were done, Nana was declared the fastest and the winner of $1,000. This will be a third win for Nana who had won the Head of House game and a task earlier in the week.
