Nzuzo Nkuthalo Njilo, the husband of South African reality TV star Faith Nketsi, has surrendered to the police after a warrant was issued for his arrest. Njilo is accused of fraudulently selling a truck in May 2021. He and his accomplice Kwanda Ntshangase allegedly posed as salesmen and sold the truck to an unsuspecting buyer, who later discovered that the vehicle was never delivered.

The duo received a significant sum of money from the buyer before disappearing, and police were unable to locate them. The case was reported to the authorities, and a criminal investigation was launched. Njilo, the son of Themba Njilo, the mayor of Msunduzi municipality, owns several businesses, including a truck company and a funeral service.

Following his surrender, he appeared in court and was charged with fraud. He has been remanded in custody until Friday, when he will join Ntshangase, who handed himself over to the police last Thursday. Nketsi, who is married to Njilo and has a daughter with him, celebrated their first wedding anniversary on April 10.

The couple has not commented on the case, and it is unclear how the charges against Njilo will affect his personal and professional life.The incident highlights the prevalence of fraud in South Africa and the importance of conducting due diligence before engaging in any business transaction.

Police have urged members of the public to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the authorities. The case against Njilo and Ntshangase is ongoing, and further details are expected to emerge as the investigation continues.
