DJ Sumbody has sued Cassper Nyovest of R147 000 in unpaid royalties.

South African Disco Jockey DJ Sumbody has allegedly sued Cassper Nyovest of R147 000 over unpaid royalties.

According to the popular South African blogger Musa Khawula who shared the gist of the lawsuit’s impending arrival on social media.

“DJ Sumbody demands payment from Cassper Nyovest after their song Remote Control was used in a Samsung ad.

“It is reported that the Samsung contract was worth R5 million.”

Cassper Nyivest has not denied nor responded to the allegation.
