Academic requirements: Completed at least four semesters of a bachelor’s degree or currently enrolled in a master’s degree from a university or university of applied sciences
Your field of responsibility
Cross Asset Execution is a global service provider to Wealth Management, Asset Management and Institutional clients, delivering state of the art electronic trading functionality alongside high touch premium execution solutions, including transaction advisory and access to global financial markets, covering multiple product areas (Equities, Fixed Income, exchange traded products, funds, FX).
The role of is within the Cross Asset Execution business COO team based in Zurich, which provides administrative, business, risk, project and (senior) management support for the department primarily in Switzerland as well as 9 international locations across EMEA and Americas. We are looking for a specialist to join the team who has a passion for data analysis and reporting. We have an ambition to be become a more data led organization and are looking for a strong candidate who can support on helping to achieve this transformation.
Your responsibilities will include:
Analysis & understanding of large financial datasets, comprising transactional data elements
Design and building state-of-the-art, data-centric solutions
Data visualization and dashboarding ideally via Tableau or Power BI
Interfacing with Data platform specialist teams and technology professionals
Engaging with business and product specialist

Your qualifications and skills

Recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree from a university or university of applied sciences, ideally in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or similar.
An enthusiasm for big data, data analytics, and technology
Dashboarding experience ideally with Tableau and / or Power BI would be advantageous.
Demonstrated experience in programming, and advanced knowledge of at least one programming language (ideally Python).
A strong academic record and a keen interest in financial markets
Excellent communication skills in written and verbal English and German
A highly motivated, flexible can-do attitude and are a team player
Excellent interpersonal skills and proven reliability
A high standard of work and can take last-minute schedule changes in your stride
Good analytical skills and are quick to grasp the bigger picture
