About Ogilvy:
David Ogilvy created Ogilvy in 1948. David established a culture that values and cares much for both its employees and customers. We are dedicated to bringing in, developing, and keeping the greatest talent in the business since it is our objective to motivate individuals and businesses to have an impact.
About the Role:
We’re looking for talent who are keen observers and insatiably curious. Dot connectors and creative problem-solvers who enjoy new experiences but occasionally feel as though there is never enough time to see, read, make, and DO all they want to.
Ogilvy creative interns receive training on actual client projects and have the chance to compete or work together with members of our creative team at all levels, including ACDs, CDs, and perhaps even CCOs.
The project load of an intern is determined by the volume of genuine client work that passes through the office over the program’s twelve weeks because it is all real client work.
Since creative interns serve as our entry-level employees, they must be prepared to get started right away, deliver on their skills, and establish their worth!
After our program, we hope to offer full-time or freelance work, provided that the agency’s finances and workflow permit it. Our historical conversion rates have reached as high as 70%.
The result is that interns should have work in their portfolios and real customer experience upon graduation.
What We’re Looking For:
Write frequently. Read a lot as well! You are skilled at thinking broadly conceptually while also being aware of the subtleties and craft of copywriting. Also, at Ogilvy, you might work on projects in the banking, cosmetics, or beverage industries. We want to evaluate how well you can write for a variety of consumers. And keep in mind that only terrible writing is dead; there are no dead media.
The Fine Print:
The application deadline is March 8, 2023. Internships with Ogilvy Creative are available in Montreal and Toronto. The program for this year offers the chance to work in an office setting, and we would prefer individuals to live close enough to commute. From May to August, a full-time, paid internship is available.
How We’ll Support You:
Ogilvy appreciates its employees. Fully. Enthusiastically. Unhesitatingly. We’ll arm you with the resources you’ll need to be successful. We’ll allow you the freedom to look for alternative routes and more effective strategies. You will receive support from Ogilvy network peers who are authorities in their fields. We’ll also provide you with the chance to work with folks you’ll be pleased to name your coworkers on projects that you’ll be proud of.
