To join our service team, USNR is looking for a self-driven Controls Field Service Technician. different control systems for the wood processing industry at client locations are maintained, installed, and upgraded. accountable for making sure service calls are completed accurately and on time as well as for conducting routine site checks to verify that equipment complies with quality and safety standards.

Essential Functions/Key Accountabilities:

  • Electrical-related diploma, degree, or trade certificate, or a comparable mix of education and experience.
  • Talents in electrical troubleshooting.
  • knowledge of programming RSLogix and ControlLogix PLC products from Allen-Bradley.
  • Understanding of the wood processing sector (preferred but not required).
  • Knowledge of variable frequency drives (preferred but not required).
  • Basic knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Knowledge about servo motors.
  • Knowledge of Allen-Bradley motion control or Delta RMC.
  • Reading electrical prints and drawings.
  • Working well with customers is a must.
  • Able to travel widely to client sites both in North America and beyond, including across international borders.
  • It is necessary to rotately give remote client service seven days a week.
  • Many tasks as required by the supervisor
