It will be a long journey for Jub Jub, to come out of this murky situation, as more women are coming out to speak their truth against him, following his interview at Podcast and Chill with MacG.
The latest is coming from Radio and TV personality, Penny Lebyane, who has revealed that rapper, Molemo ‘Jub Jub’ Maarohanye, previously tried to rape and kill her.
She shared the news on her Twitter account on (5 December) after Amanda du Pont’s video statement.

Amanda Du Pont revealed in an 18-minute video on Instagram that Jub Jub had raped and abused her during their relationship. It all started when Jub Jub appeared on Podcast and Chill with MacG – his biggest mistake! It was when Jub Jub spoke about his relationship with Du Pont, that prompted the former Skeem Saam actress to speak out.

Masechaba Khumalo
Masechaba Khumalo, who has stepped away from the limelight, and is now a spokesperson to the Minister of Department of Sports, Arts and Culture, has too stepped forward and says she too was r@ped by Jub Jub. She tweeted that, just like Amanda, she too was still a virgin, and he r@ped her in his mother’s house.
She also revealed in 2011 that Maarohanye had abused her to the point where he’d hit her when he felt she was paying too much attention to their son.
Kelly Khumalo
Their ‘stormy’ relationship has also led to Jub Jub reportedly having no access to his son today.
Jub Jub revealed in his interview with MacG last night that he’s tried to contact Kelly Khumalo several times, so he can see his son but was unsuccessful.
PENNY LEBYANE: ‘MOLEMO ALMOST KILLED TWICE’
The media personality says she was triggered by Amanda du Pont’s video statement as she too went through a traumatic experience because of the Uyajola 9/9 host.
Lebyane states on her Twitter account that Maarohanye tried to kill her twice in her twenties after binging on cocaine.
She says he even tried to end her life in her own apartment and she had to lock herself in her bathroom because he was going to rape her too.
The radio personality adds that she wasn’t even romantically involved with Jub Jub and sympathizes with women who’ve been abused by the rapper.
“Molemo almost killed me twice in my twenties after his cocaine binges.”
“First ko M1N and secondly in my own apartment. I had to myself in my own apartment.”
“Ha ke mo batle fuxked up” (I don’t want anything to do with him).
“I feel for those women who encountered him on that level.”
