The South African rapper and entrepreneur Cassper Nyovest has emerged the Artist Of The Decade award at the 2021 South African Hip Hop Awards in a keenly contested category.
The SAHHA included the artist of the decade award to celebrate some of the biggest hip hop artists in the country. The nominees are:

- Cassper Nyovest
- Emtee

- Nasty C
- Stogie T
- A-Reece
- Reason

- Gigi Lamayne

Speaking about the award yesterday, Cassper bragged about what he would do if he emerges as the winner in the category.
“If I win artist or the decade tomorrow, I’m going off. I’m buying everything. I’m getting lit. Y’all haters better have your fingers crossed that I don’t cause ya’ll know me … Mara you know what, if I don’t win then I’m still buying everything just to sh*t on the haters.”
Cassper is now the winner of the ninth edition of the award and has taken to his social media to appreciate everyone involved in the victory which declared that he will be addressed as ARTISTE OF THE DECADE or else, he won’t be responding.
“From now on, call me ARTIST OF THE DECADE or else I’m not responding!!!!! Thank you sooo much to all the fans!!! My team!!! God !!! I’m about to celebrate for the rest of the year!!!! #SAHHA2021,” he wrote.
The awards ceremony was set to take place last week Saturday but was moved to December 11.
This year the SA Hip Pop Awards celebrates its 10th anniversary.
