Care Assistant At Harrogate & District NHS Foundation Trust

This is a new position for the Trust, and the incumbent will be in charge of helping patients who are ready to be discharged from the hospital safely return to their homes.

Although not necessary, care experience would be advantageous. Applicants must be able to function both independently and as part of a team, as well as comprehend a patient’s basic needs.

To do this function, candidates must be able to drive.

After being released from the hospital, patients will receive domiciliary care in their homes in the neighbourhood from the domiciliary care team. Re-enablement support will be appropriate for some clients, and this job will be tailored to this patient population.
