Boitumelo Thulo, also known as Boity Thulo, is a businessman, television personality, actor, rapper, and model from South Africa.

Boitumelo Thulo was born on April 28, 1990, in Potchefstroom, North West South Africa, as the sole child of her mother Modiehi Thulo.

Thulo’s aspirations of becoming a psychologist and criminologist were dashed when she was forced to drop out of Monash University due to her mother’s inability to pay for her study.

She later auditioned to a film casting agency and was cast in her first television ad for Wimpy, an international fast food chain, in 2010.

She is thought to be dating South African TV star Maps Maponyane, despite the fact that they are not married.
