On December 24, 2022, Mzansi received the unexpected news that Mandla Maphumulo, also known as Mampintsha, had passed away. The Mampintsha music community and supporters, including his family, friends, and relatives, all came together to express how heartbroken they were by his untimely passing. Nobody anticipated that things would go awry once they were taken to the hospital with him. Instead, they tried to cheer him up by wishing him well.

He passed at the age of 40 due to stroke complications. From that point up until now, Babes Wodumo has never been the same again. The death of her husband left a big hole in her life as she didn’t stop moaning.Babes visits her late husband Mampintsha at the graveyard since she’s troubled by his passing away.

Worse still, Babes lost her mother in-law, Zamanguni Gumede, (pictured below) mother of Mampintsha on the 15th of January 2023, barely a month after the departure of her husband.It never rains but pours for Babes since she also lost her uncle after her mother in-law leading her missing some of her booked shows.

Its too much for her even if she tries to be strong. She needs Mzansi’s prayers and support. Babes shared a video while visiting her soul mate’s grave at the graveyard and below are supportive comments from concerned beings.
