Many well-known artists working in a wide range of mediums call South Africa home. The music industry has produced a number of notable artists over the past two decades.

The Amapiano-influenced Mzansi genre was popular several years ago. In his native South Africa, Boohle is well-known for his musical compositions and songwriting abilities. Buhle Manyathi is the correct spelling of her name.

Vosloorus, a town in Gauteng province, is where they both grew up. In 2016, she and her two younger siblings formed a gospel singing group. This year’s Amapiano Awards in South Africa recognized Boohle as both the Best Amapiano Newcomer and the Best Female Vocalist.
